Access a $3,350 incentive under the Apprentice Kickstart Extension initiative.

In the recent federal budget the Commonwealth Government announced an additional incentive to support industry to continue employing apprentices in critical trades. Our records indicate that your business may be in a position to benefit from this initiative.

Under the initiative an additional $3,350 is available to employers and is paid in the first 12 months of the apprenticeship. The incentive applies to Australian Apprentices who commence an apprentice between 12 May 2010 and 12 November 2010 (inclusive).

To be eligible, you must have fewer than 200 employees, the apprentice must be 19 years or under, studying a Certificate III or IV level qualification and undertaking a National Skills Needs trade
